My kids have a list of words they are not supposed to say, outside of the obvious of course.
Mostly, they are just everyday words that they somehow turn into bad words. Suck, face, stupid, idiot, etc. Don't ask about face. It's a long story, and it's all in the context. Like I said, they can make anything sound like a bad word.
Anyway, Dylan and Maddie were discussing words they're not supposed to say, which is another way for them to say them without getting into trouble. My kids are sneaky farts I tell you.
Maddie said "we're not supposed to say bits either."
Dylan "What?"
Maddie "You know, bits. We can't say that word."
Joel, who was listening from the kitchen says "Why can't you say that word?"
Maddie "It's a bad word."
Joel "Are you sure you have the right word?"
Maddie "You know daddy....BBB-IIII-TTT-CCCCHHHHH" She enunciated every single letter in that word, just to make sure we knew what she was talking about.
So, don't be a bits.
