Ridiculous
| Reactions: |
Today two of my favorite shows have been cancelled - All My Children and One Life to Live. I've watched these shows since I was a little girl. They have been on the air for over 40 years. Gone. Well, not yet. The last episodes will air in September (AMC) and January (OLTL). I watch these every day, along with General Hospital. Most people think this is pathetic, but not any more pathetic than shows like Jersey Shore or Real Housewives of Uranus or whatever that trash is. All I can hope for is that the shows go out with style. They bring back some old characters and mix some of the great old story lines in. I will definitely miss these shows.

Karla,
I watch AMC and have since the beginning. I am beyond sad that it has been cancelled. To top it off they are replacing it with a cooking show. Really?? Do they really expect more viewers?
Don't think we are the only ones who will miss our soaps.
I stopped watching it but have always known I could if I wanted! I watched AMC since it started too... what about the several million that watched these shows? It is crazy. And have you read about the shows replacing them? Really? Do we need MORE cooking/talk/health shows? I am sad. I watch Days now, but that's about it.
I am so sad. I do not watch the two that are cancelling but i watch GH and now there is talk of GH being axed next year possibly... for some dumb twat to have a daytime talk show... don't we have enough of those too? I hope they keep at least GH on the air. I have been watching since I was a toddler with my mom.
